This is a little late since most people would have already bought the dogs they want to give as Christmas gifts, but please, please, please do your research on the dog you want.
Rescues will be overflowing with dogs that need to be re-homed because people don't do their research before buying dogs.
A friend of mine just asked me to repost this because a special shiba is going to be put to sleep on 28 December 2010, a few days after Christmas. Oh no... is there any back story on this guy?
Khyra: We hope people do research about your breed as well. It becomes very disappointing to find them in shelters looking for new homes, especially around the beginning of the year.
Shibasenji: The only thing we know about this little boy is that he is 9 year old, 25lbs, and found as a stray. His out date for adoption is 12/24 but people can go look at him anytime the shelter is open.
Sorry we don't know more about the fellow.
