Mommy and J were making cookies for Veterans Day for Troy and Emmie. For the humans, mommy made sugar cookies and cut them in the shape of ribbons (like the support our troop ones you see on cars), and piped lemon frosting on them to make the yellow ribbons. Too bad, she didn't take a picture of the finished product, but there are some pictures of their progress.
The little bag you see on the left side of the picture is the home made dog biscuits they made for Emmie and Harley!
Sugar cookies!
Cooling organic peanut butter dog cookies. Nami and I got to taste test. Boy did we love them. =) (Mommy and J didn't tell W, A, and J2 what they were and gave them each part of a cookie. Their expressions were priceless! Especially J2's! He looked around like "am I supposed to say that these don't taste like much?")Anypaws, I can't wait until they make more cookies. The fresh ground peanut butter smell is making me drool! They still have the rest of their container full of that.

Khyra: Mommy says "thank you so much." Daddy is a veteran, so she tries to make something special for him and his coworkers (they are veterans too). They don't get the day off, so she tries to make it less gloomy. We love the peanut butter cookies. I, personally, will eat peanut butter out of the jar if I could, but I'd probably turn into a rolley poley if I did. Yikes! Nami isn't too peanut butter motivated, but she loves biscuits/cookies. hehe.
